The 2nd overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft opened his professional career with a statement performance that lived up to the hype. Harper's first career assist went to Victor Wembanyama, a symbolic moment that captured the chemistry brewing in San Antonio's new-look roster. Then came his first NBA bucket: a powerful driving dunk that sent shockwaves through the arena and announced his arrival as a force. His 15-point, four-rebound, two-assist debut was a showcase of elite offensive craft: dream shakes off the glass, transition euro steps with devastating hesitation, and the kind of advanced footwork that typically takes years to develop. This complete performance radiated star power and basketball IQ at every turn, capturing the first chapter of a generational talent's journey in its purest form.
