There's nothing quite like playing in front of your hometown crowd, and Kon Knueppel made the most of his first NBA appearance in Milwaukee as a professional. Despite trailing late in regulation against the Bucks, the Charlotte rookie refused to let the moment overwhelm him in this overtime thriller. With under five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Knueppel slashes through the lane and elevates for a powerful driving dunk that keeps the Hornets within striking distance. The former Duke star poured in a then career-high 32 points on his emotional return home, a performance that helped earn him Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month honors.
