Rhyne Howard has a gift for putting up big numbers with startling efficiency, and on this night she turned that gift into outright history. Facing the Connecticut Sun on the road, Howard erupted for 23 first-half points on just five of seven shooting, setting the all-time WNBA record for most points at halftime by any player who attempted seven or fewer field goals. She finished with 29 points on 7-of-10 shooting, five threes and 10-of-11 from the line, powering Atlanta to a 104-69 blowout.
