ULTIMATESeries 2025-26LEMint 1Phoenix Mercury

Few trade debuts in recent WNBA memory carried this kind of immediate pressure. With Phoenix trailing by one and under a minute to play, Kelsey Plum catches, elevates, and buries the go-ahead three-pointer with 53.2 seconds left, the biggest shot of the night on the biggest stage of her week. The Mercury hold the Sky scoreless the rest of the way to seal a 106-101 road victory. Plum finished with 20 points on 6-of-10 shooting, the highest-scoring debut by a Mercury guard since Diana Taurasi in 2004.
