The Lock-Rate Squeeze Board

Methodology

Squeeze % = (locked + burned) / circulation. Lock %, burn %, and effectively-buyable % all share the same denominator (original circulation), so they sum to 100%. Squeeze % is bounded to [50%, 100%].

Effectively buyable = circulation − locked − burned. Lock + burn data refreshes hourly from on-chain badge event ingestion. FMV is RPC’s sales model (the median of the edition’s most recent typical sales, special serials and grail spikes set aside); — indicates too few recent sales to price the edition.

MAX MINT and MIN MINT cap and floor circulation — the number minted, which locks and burns never reduce (so “≤ 100” keeps every edition minted at 100 or fewer, however many are locked). ≤ 100 is the band collectors call trophy circ. The buyable caps and floors use effectively buyable instead. LEAGUE reads NBA or WNBA from the edition’s team and set, so WNBA moments in a mixed set (Fresh Gems, Level Up, Road To Royalty…) still count as WNBA.

Top 5 hold = the combined share of circulation held by the five largest collector wallets, from the on-chain owner census (Top Shot’s unopened-pack account and Dapper’s buyback account are excluded — neither is a collector). It is shown only for editions whose census is complete (167 of 200 of the rows shown); an em-dash means the census has not reached that edition yet, which is unknown, not 0%. Refreshed every 6 hours.

Low ask is the lowest live listing. A listing more than 10× this edition’s FMV is shown as — “ask ≫ FMV” rather than as a price: at that distance it is either a troll listing or a stale FMV, and either way it is not what the moment trades for. The row itself is never removed — hover the flag to see the listed number.

We start at 50% squeeze because below that, the marketplace UI is already close to honest. The interesting tail is the editions where Top Shot says “229 minted” and only 12 of them are actually purchasable.
