Less than a week after dropping 41 on the Charlotte Hornets, the Houston Rockets’ second-year shooting guard is at it again when the Minnesota Timberwolves come to town. Green runs the floor with a sense of urgency before pulling up and draining a difficult step-back triple to beat the third quarter buzzer and give his squad a nine-point lead. Green was too much for the Timberwolves to handle, erupting for 42 points on 11 of 23 shooting to go with four rebounds, four assists and six three-pointers in Houston’s 119-114 win on January 23, 2023.
