During a brief “mic’d up” segment early into 2025’s Eastern Conference Finals, the Indiana Pacers’ All-Star captain expressed to his teammates the need to dominate the “Brunson-less minutes” when the New York Knicks’ No. 1 scorer took his rest. The players intent on ensuring that didn’t happen often arrived in different forms, but during May 29, 2025’s win-or-go-home Game Five, one player stood among the forefront: Landry Shamet. Proving to be exactly what the doctor prescribed for New York’s defensive struggles, Shamet muscles his way into a highlight, holding his ground against T.J.
